Well, the offer is signed. Just waiting on my final paperwork to go through in D.C., and then we have just a few weeks to show up there. It's getting close. The offer made it one step closer to real for me, although I still don't really have my brain wrapped around the idea of no longer being in Austin. I think that 50 years from now, even if I never end up back here, Austin will still be "home".

I saw a rainbow on my way to work this morning.

Rachel's getting married June 3rd!!

3/4 weekend, Rachel came down to visit. We went shopping for wedding dresses and flowers. I designed all the bouquets, boutonnières, and corsages (all very hard to spell).
