1/5: Eilonwy has now tried apples & ham, rice puffs, apricots, and oatmeal (in addition to whatever else I've listed before). There's nothing this kid doesn't love to eat (at least so far). Here she is feeding herself rice puffs (top left) and oatmeal... in her new highchair!!

11/27: Eilonwy got teething toast today. She loved it. A lot.

11/24: Go Horns.

11/23: Tarzan baby... gets rescued by her daddy. Notice her purple hair in the last pic. We went the day before Thanksgiving to get our hair done. Bryan decided to do something crazy because school's almost out - hence the bright red. Kinda festive, I think. Then, we went really crazy and got Eilonwy's top-knot done purple. It's almost washed out now, but it was really fun while it lasted!

11/17:

She's investigating everything around her. She likes her daddy's coke cans - they're nice and shiny. Or maybe she just associates all cylindrical objects with bottles. (Don't worry - the can is both clean and empty.)

11/12:

When I'm feeding Eilonwy her cereal in the evenings, she likes to stick her thumb in her mouth on top of a mouthful of food, or she sometimes tries to grab the spoon from me. So I end up trying to hold her head on my knee, hold her hands down with one hand, and shovel the cereal into her mouth with the other hand. It's all very unwieldy. Or it WAS. We went and got her a Bumbo seat this weekend, and it's AWESOME. She loves it, and it lets her sit up on the table and be on eye-level while we eat (as well as making it much easier to feed her). Have a look:

Here she is with the latest toy. It's a globe-on-a-stick with a spinny thing inside that lights up. It vibrates as it spins, and Eilonwy thinks it's awesome. She keeps trying to eat it, and then she looks confused when it buzzes her tongue. I bought it as a prize for the Halloween costume contest at work (see Sarah Jo's page for pics of me in costume), but the guy who won it said his kids were throwing it around and would destroy it soon if he kept it at his house. He thought I had a better use for it. I agree... Thanks, Kirby!

10/29: Yep, still adorable. Apparently, the corner of the couch has become our very own photo studio. Eventually, I may stop taking new pictures of Eilonwy every time she wears something new. But then again, maybe I won't.

10/22: Cooler weather = whole new wardrobe!

10/19: She's so cute!!

10/06: This is one of Eilonwy's favorite new games. Once her diaper is changed, she takes her daddy's hands and picks up her head to say, "Pick me up!" Then she stands up and laughs.

Eilonwy on September 19th. We went "all girly" today.

Kashmir (by Led Zeppelin) is Eilonwy's favorite song. About 20 seconds before this picture was taken, she was screaming. Then we played Kashmir, and here's the result.

Eilonwy on August 17th. She's such a happy baby. She was laughing and talking - really exploring her voice.
