6/10:

Eilonwy walks and crawls at about 50/50 now. She walks preferentially when she's happy and rested, but she reverts when she's tired.

Eilonwy now has four teeth - three on top and one on bottom. And she's still acting like more are coming soon. She's been fussier than usual, extra drooly, and extra sleepy the last few days. Some of that is probably recovery from the trip, but I know some is teething.

Here's a pic where here teeth are showing:

Eilonwy's first birthday was 6/7. We were in Colorado 'til the 6th, and we had a short celebration at Rachel's apartment on our way to the airport. Rachel let Eilonwy have the top layer of her wedding cake! Eilonwy was alarmed at first, with the fire and singing, but then she warmed up to it all. But her lunch had been so big, she was totally uninterested in cake!

Her Grammy bought her a pushtoy for her birthday. She loves it. And when she doesn't need it to be a pushtoy any more, it converts into a little car!

Rachel was married in Colorado at the Beaver Meadows resort on June 3rd. I don't have any wedding pictures, but the wedding was silly and lovely and fun. Not to mention short and sweet. We took the occasion of the wedding as an opportunity to have a mini-vacation at the resort. Unfortunately, Bryan was very altitude-sick the whole time we were there. But we still had fun.

Mom, Dad, Me, Rachel & Dylan, and Danette went on a horseback ride on Tuesday morning:

We had fun with the chipmunks hanging out on the porch of the cabin:

Nanny sent her a new book:

Rachel and Eilonwy reading together:

Eilonwy "driving" the stroller at the mall. This outfit is about to get thoroughly filthy-fied... I think Eilonwy decided that if she got her clothes disgusting enough, maybe we'd get her new ones. And we did.

Eilonwy chillin' at the brewpub.

Eilonwy playing with her new blocks (sometimes, everything's a phone... or a shot-put?).

Here she is playing in the cabinet of refrigerator dishes while I was cooking dinner one night:

On 3/4, we also went to the kite festival. I took a ton of pictures, but they just don't do it justice. It's truly amazing to see literally thousands of kites in the sky at once. The park is a rather large one, but it's still a city park, for goodness' sake. Here's Eilonwy holding the end of our kite string, and a picture of some of the biggest kites there. My Mom bought a yellow diamond-kite, and Bryan flew it most of the time we were there. The rest of us just enjoyed watching it and not having to work. The wind was perfect for kite flying.

2/23: Eilonwy's first time on a real swingset. She had a blast.

Here she is in her high chair 2/22 morning (for you worriers out there, yes, she is strapped in):
