Help me Sleep In for the Cure!

Excerpt from my Susan G. Komen page:

A close friend of mine recently told me that his daughter had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and the fear is that it has already spread. As the tears welled up in his eyes, I saw the fear only a parent can know. It's so frightening to think that his daughter is just one year older than I. I support cancer research and treatment so that when my daughter is my age, maybe cancer will be one less thing to fear.

Just watch

First day in Montessori school:

Her teacher was very pleased - said Eilonwy did great, didn't cry once, and went to sleep without a pacifier. She was curious about everything, patient with the other kids when they had (or took) something she wanted, and was "very mature." So... tomorrow is another "first day of school" because Eilonwy will be in a different class, with a different teacher, and with some "more interesting stuff" to foster her curious mind. Average age in the new class is a little older, so that'll help too. I said to go for it, since if we wait, she'll have gotten attached to the teachers and students in the class she was in today. I'm so excited for our tiny girl!!

2024 voters for Obama!

Damn. It's amazing what a guy with a computer can do these days.

Current health care economics vs. family values.

Americans will never cease to amaze and inspire me.

Liberal bias my ass.

I would just like for everyone to know why I, a free-market -loving, libertarian capitalist, now strongly favors the Democratic Party on economic grounds

OK, I do NOT want any irate e-mails about this. I chopped off Eilonwy's hair this morning. It was driving her crazy - always getting in her eyes while playing, dragging on her neck and making her hot, and making her scream if I ever wanted to put it up to get it away from her face. Her blue eyes are too pretty to hide behind all that hair. And I think this is absolutely adorable besides. Here goes:
